Manager - Regional Sales

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for commercial product sales in the Western US. Includes commercial product sales and managing a sales rep network & coordination with a team of other complementary distribution salespeople in the region.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drive new business development and sales growth of commercial products.
• Direct key account development and sales responsibility.
• Develop and manage a sales rep network, along with supporting a family of distributors.
• Coordinate with a team of other complementary direct sales managers in the region.
• Collaborate with engineering on product design.
• Manage expectations between customers and the company on lead times, expedites, and availability.
• Provide forecasting, manage pipelines within CRM tools, and participate in budgeting.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree with a focus on business management, operations, or engineering management preferred
• Minimum 5-years’ experience in an outside sales environment
• RF/Technical sales preferred.

SKILLS AND ABILITY EXPECTATIONS
• Account knowledge in RF Applications and Semiconductor, Medical, Telecommunications (Mobile, LMR, Private Networks), IoT, Microwave / Point-to-Point, High Power Microwave, Industrial & Transportation (Rail) markets
• Familiar with managing a sales rep network and working with distribution partners
• Experience with RF interconnect products, coaxial cable &/or related products
• Basic technical competence – comfortable discussing technical requirements such as RF electrical specs and mechanical requirements.
