Business Development Engineer – Western USA – Cable assemblies Mil-aero -Pasadena, CA
Work with the team and lead sales efforts for our product lines across the Western United States. Generate leads, develop accounts, and close new business opportunities to support revenue growth targets.
Products are mil-aero connectors and cable assemblies
• Lead account development, design-in activities, and market break-in
• Foster customer relationships that generate new business opportunities, in coordination with sales and sales management.
• Forecast and achieve monthly order targets; analyze monthly business performance.
• Identify customer needs and industry trends to build new customers and expand existing ones
• Manage proposal responses, including detailed RFP requirements and content creation,
• Support the development of sales collateral and assist in trade shows.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
• Self-sufficient and able to work independently while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, especially time-sensitive customer and sales requests.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with a focus on customer engagement.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 35%, both domestically and internationally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
• Prior experience in the military and aerospace, or in a relevant industry.
• Prior experience with Interconnect, Cable, or Wire Harness assemblies.
Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Marketing,
