Connecticut or Arizona-based - connector for the industrial markets
The Director of Sales and Marketing develops and implements direct marketing/sales relationships with OEMs and manages the marketing and business development functions of the organization. He / She implements strategic marketing plans to achieve expansion objectives. He/she directs staff in Sales, Product Management, and Applications Engineering
• Develop strategies to identify new business opportunities and expand existing clients
Relationships via direct sales, distribution, and Key Accounts.
• Oversee and prepare salespeople for client development presentations
• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic marketing plan
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, balance multiple projects, and prioritize
• Proven track record of building relationships with potential clients as well as collaborating
Effectively with all levels of management within the organization
• Proven track record of dealing with major accounts and distributors domestically and internationally
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to be proactive and use analytical skills to pursue potential leads
• Must be a creative problem solver and a self-starter
• Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills
• Proven track record of growing relationships within and revenue from existing accounts in a
Business-to-business sales and/or professional services environment
• Min. 10 years professional marketing/sales management experience in the electronic component industry
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Prefer 15+ years of sales experience and 5 or more years of management
• Technical degree and Marketing Degrees preferred
