Regional Sales Manager – PA to MA – wire and cable assemblies
A global manufacturer of connectors and custom cable assemblies is seeking a Regional Sales Manager - remote
Qualified candidates are responsible for connector product sales in the North Eastern US. Includes direct key account sales responsibility, managing a sales rep network & coordination with distribution channels.
Responsibilities
• Drive sales growth
• Direct key account development and sales responsibility
• Develop and manage a sales rep network along with supporting a family of distributors
• Coordinate with a team of other complimentary direct sales managers in the region
• Collaborate with engineering on product design
• Manage expectations between customers and the company on lead times, expedites, and Product availability
• Provide forecasting and make decisions to support corporate marketing
• Account knowledge in medical, T&M, Mil-aero, industrial and automotive
• Familiar with setting up and managing a sales rep network
• Experience with interconnect products, and cable assemblies
• Basic technical competence – comfortable discussing technical requirements such as electrical specs and mechanical requirements
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Business Management, Operations, or Engineering
• Minimum 5-years’ experience in outside sales environment
• Experience with interconnect products, cables &/or related electrical components
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
