Regional Sales Manager – Connector and cable – Mid-West Territory

 

This position is responsible for the sale of the organization's products in a specified region or major geographical area and provides ongoing support to product distribution channel. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for territory growth while managing and working with the sales rep organizations.

 

Location: Midwest region of the United States within a commutable distance of a major airport

 

Responsibilities

·         Responsible for territory growth and diversification within military, test & measurement, medical, commercial and industrial markets

·         Driving growth with all product lines, fiber optics, RF interconnect, Copper Harness assemblies in the Medical & Industrial Markets, Test & Measurement and Mil/Def markets.

·         Manages contracted sales rep organizations

·         Provides training to sales reps and distribution partners on existing and new products

·         Performs sales rep reviews on a quarterly basis to review territory performance

·         Develop new customers

·         Achieves sales objectives established for the territory

·         Coordinates and assists in leading sales meetings to include site selection and agenda preparation.

·         Attends trade shows as required

·         Travels with rep organizations and distribution partners to customer base to promote Company products

·         Territory consists of the mid-western United States.

·         Hold QBR’s with the rep organizations.

·         Weekly reporting to management on territory activity

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

 

Education and/or Experience

 

·         Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·         Five plus years of sales experience with RF Connectors, RF Components, RF Cable Assemblies, Fiber Optics, Copper Harnesses and Data Center including preparation/presentation of products and contract negotiations.

·         Worked in an independent sales environment and exemplified self-motivation
